One of the main problems with old steel windows is generally a build up of painting over the years with no maintenance that leads to many defects such as broken hinges defective mechanisms windows that do not open and close build up of rust causing the glass to break. Through years of experience and practice in dealing with these problems and many others in most cases our fitters will return the windows to good working condition wherever possible, we will supply new fittings ironmongery to match the existing on most windows, we can also apply a silicone draughtproofing system should there be situations where gaps are evident in closed frame sections leaving windows opening and closing with ease and draughtproof.
